TEENAGER James Gregory was caught offering to sell drugs after being pulled over by the police.
Officers stopped the 19-year-old in Birches Head and suspected he may be involved in drugs when they saw a snap bag in his vehicle.
No drugs were found in the car but the defendant's phone was seized and was found to contain messages consistent with him offering to supply mephedrone.
Now Gregory has been handed a suspended jail sentence at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
