POLICE have launched an investigation after a schoolboy was mugged on his way to a Stoke-on-Trent high school.
The boy was walking along a section of disused railway line off Leek Road in Birches Head when he was approached by three males.
They took money from the Birches Head Academy pupil as he made his way to school at around 9am on Tuesday, July 7.
