FIREFIGHTERS have been called to fire at a house in Birches Head.Three pumps were initially sent out to the fire, at a house in Eros Crescent, at about 8.20pm. One returned to base as the fire was not as serious as first feared.A spokesman for Staffordshire Fire and Rescue said: "We always take house fires very seriously, to make sure it is dealt with properly.
