POLICE are investigating how a cyclist suffered fatal injuries after falling from his bike.
Grandfather Martin Prendergast was rushed to hospital following the accident on Birches Head Road on Friday afternoon.
But the 46-year-old, of Lydia Drive, Birches Head, never recovered from his head injuries and was later pronounced dead at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.
